Registration process to vote in Kansas City

Residents of Kansas can sign up online to vote. To do this, they need a valid Kansas driver’s license or a state ID card. If someone doesn’t have one of these, they will need to fill out a paper form instead.

People can also register in person at their county election office, the Secretary of State’s Office, or their local DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles).

After you send in your voter registration form, your local county election office will let you know.

According to the Kansas Secretary of State’s Office, you need to register again if you change your name, address, or political party.

If you’re not sure if you’re registered or if your details are correct, you can check your voter registration online here.

Registration process to vote in Missouri

In Missouri, you can register to vote when you’re 17 and a half years old, but you must be 18 by the time of the election to actually vote. You also need to be a U.S. citizen and live in Missouri.

You can easily register to vote in Missouri by filling out the online Voter Registration Application. If you prefer, you can also request a mail-in registration form through the website.

If you move to a new address but stay in the same county, you can update your address on election day at your new polling location. However, if you move to a different county or area, you’ll need to fill out a new voter registration form.

If voters move after the registration deadline, they will get a smaller ballot with only federal and statewide candidates. They will also receive a voter registration form from the local election office in person.
